Wishlist Wednesday is weekly event hosted by Dani at Pen to Paper. The aim of this event is to post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just has been added (it’s entirely up to you), that we can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto our bookshelves.
It happens at the start of every November: the Scorpio Races. Riders attempt to keep hold of their water horses long enough to make it to the finish line. Some riders live. Others die.
At age nineteen, Sean Kendrick is the returning champion. He is a young man of few words, and if he has any fears, he keeps them buried deep, where no one else can see them.
Puck Connolly is different. She never meant to ride in the Scorpio Races. But fate hasn’t given her much of a chance. So she enters the competition — the first girl ever to do so. She is in no way prepared for what is going to happen.
This book has been literally all over Blogspot in the past few weeks so I had to check it out on Goodreads and I fell in love with it. It has been on my wishlist for a while and I hope I’ll get it for Christmas, I’d love to read it!
What’s on your wishlist? Feel free to leave a comment below.

Oh yes I can see why you've added this on to Wishlist Wednesday, it does sound so good. I have this on my wishlist too
I've read all the books in the Shiver series and really enjoyed them, the fairy series that she did was ok-ish. But this one sounds FAB! I hope you get a copy soon.

i enjoyed her wolves of mercy falls series. so, i'm totally interested in this new one. I mean the blurb is self is cool, kinda reminds me of Hunger Games, no? XD
Hopping through!
Oh, it's from the same author who wrote the Wolves of Mercy falls series? Promising! And hmm… the premise sounds intriguing too. I kind of like the character of Sean Kendrick already (just from the description!)
Ohhh I really want this one too! I've heard such great things!!
