It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off the from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?
Why I can’t wait: When I first saw this book, I instantly thought: it’s like And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie! It sounds like a YA edition of Christie’s book, doesn’t it? Anyway, since I’m a huge mystery/suspense fan, I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy this one. Bex @ Kindle Fever will have to buddy read with me for this one.. ahem.
What are you waiting on this week? Make sure to leave me a link below!

It reminds me a little bit of TV series Harper’s Island and that was an awesome show. Looks like a very interesting and intense read. ^^ Great choice.

This does sound like a teenage version of Agatha Christie’s “And Then There Were None” and I too love reading mystery books. Thanks for the share!

Woohoo, this sounds creepy! *goes hide in a corner* I don’t really like scary stuff, and this totally qualifies as that! Yep, I have a trauma or something LOL Anyways, if you read it I’ll be looking forward to your review to see what you thought of it. Who knows? Maybe… Just maybe…

This sounds good..but it also reminds me of a summer series that was on the telly. It involved a wedding party on an island and the guests got picked off one at a time….adding to my list.
