It’s been absolutely ages since I was able to take part in a read-a-thon properly, so when I saw Celine’s post about this event I knew I had to sign up. The devastating fact is that I haven’t had time to pick up a book ever since I moved to London last week. I was so busy with moving all my stuff and finding my way around Surrey that I didn’t even have time to check my blog or think about reading. Which is understandable if you’re in such a situation, but I miss blogging and curling up with a good book. So this read-a-thon will be a perfect opportunity for me to set aside a small amount of time each day for reading only.
Since I’m quite busy during the day, my plan is to keep it pretty low-key and finish two books in the next 11 days. I’m already halfway through Locked In by Kerry Wilkinson so I want to finish this one and read one more book. The second book in question might be The Returned by Jason Mott (which I got for review so I should probably hurry up) but since I’m notorious for not sticking to my own lists, I might change my mind.
Did you sign up for the read-a-thon? What are your goals?
