Some DIY Halloween Decorations from Pinterest

Halloween at Books, Biscuits, and Tea

Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend! My Halloween feature continues with a list of DIY ideas I found on Pinterest in the past few weeks. All of them have some sort of a tutorial which I’ll always indicate below the images. I hope you find some new ideas here and do let me know if you decide to give any of them a try or if you have any other ideas for Halloween decorations. :)

Crow Door Decor
Spook up your door this Halloween with easy crow cut outs!

DIY Crow Door Decor

This one reminded me of Hitchcock’s The Birds, which is actually one of my favourite films of all time. It’s terribly simple and easy to do but it still looks awesome and quite creepy. All you have to do basically is find some silhouettes of crows on Google and print them out in different sizes, then cut them out. For the full tutorial click here.

Glass Shade Ghosts

Another great idea which is perfect for both indoors and outdoors decoration. All you need is a few glass shades, black nail varnish or black marker pen and a few candles or fairy lights and that’s it. Spooky!  (Tutorial here)

Bin Bag Spiderwebs

Bin Bag Spiderwebs
Out of all the decorations I’ve listed here, this one’s probably the easiest and the cheapest alternative. A bin bag and a pair of scissors is literally all you will need and it still looks very creative and creepy. Adore!  (Tutorial here)

Nocturnal Creatures Centrepiece
Add creepy creatures to your Halloween table with this easy project.

This one is a bit more complicated than the previous ones but I think it’s worth the effort. I love the black silhouettes on the pumpkins! Click here to read the tutorial. Also, I think this one would look great with these cat-and-rat race silhouettes – if you don’t want to bother with the pumpkins or you don’t have much time, do check out the cats and rats, they’re a lot more easier to do but they still look great.

Shocking Silhouettes

Even though I’m not sure these would work in my tiny little room, they are still my favourites out of these five crafts. I love candles and being in candle-lit rooms so I’ll definitely give these a try. :) Click here to read the tutorial.

Are there any crafts you’ve tried before and really liked? What decorations will you try this Halloween?

What adorable decor ideas! I love Halloween so much! Sadly, I was not able to decorate this year because I’m living in someone else’s house. Still, I’d love to use these another time. Thanks for sharing!
