Showcase Sunday #9

Hello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. For more information about how this feature works and how to join in, click here.

Hello hello! How are you all? I was in such a hurry to take photos of my lovely books, upload them and put this post together that I left out one book and a t-shirt I got on Monday… Oh well, I’ll keep it in mind and put them in next week’s post!  Anyway, here’s what came in the mail this week:

Showcase Sunday #9
Come to the Edge
by Joanna Kavenna (for review)
This Charming Man by Marian Keyes (purchased)
Sushi for Beginners by Marian Keyes (purchased)

Come to the Edge was a surprise on Friday morning – it’s a review copy from Quercus and even though I haven’t seen this title before, the synopsis sounds quite intriguing so I’m really looking forward to reading it! Marian’s books were…well, these are the only ones that I haven’t purchased yet so I thought why not put them on my summer reading list? Her new book is coming out on September 13 so it’ll be a great opportunity for me to catch up with the books I haven’t had time to read yet. Needless to say, I CAN’T WAIT!

What did you guys get? Make sure to leave a link to your own Showcase Sunday post in the linky below and feel free to leave me a comment after linking up, you know I love comments! :D (As I said in my previous post, I’m on a blogging break until July -which is just a few days away now- but I’ll visit everyone back as soon as I come back full time). Take care and see you soon xxx

I always pick them up when I see them at Goodwill because I hear they are great and really, you can’t go wrong with $1 a piece :) I haven’t heard of Come to the Edge, but that cover got my attention so I’m heading over to Goodreads to check it out. I hope you love your new books!
