Hello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Books
I had a great week book-wise! I finally got a review copy I was waiting for, the Marian Keyes book I ordered for my birthday and two birthday presents
Thank you SO MUCH to Pragya from Reviewing Shelf and Faye from A Daydreamer’s Thoughts for the two birthday books! And thank you to Quirk Books for the review copy of Ransom Riggs’ books! I managed to read Unlocked and Saved by Cake so if you’d like to read my reviews for either of these two, you’ll find them below. I was ridiculously excited about Marian’s book and it didn’t disappoint!!
► Miracle on Regent Street by Ali Harris (birthday present)
► Saved by Cake by Marian Keyes (bought) – My review
► Unlocked by Ryan G. Van Cleave (birthday present) – My review
► Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs (for review)
Swag
I also got some swag this week! A few weeks ago I entered a zillion giveaways during the YAmazing Race and that’s where I won the signed bookmarks and tattoos from! A massive thank you to the two authors for sending me all these goodies!
The two bottles of nail varnish are totally non-book related because I ordered them myself but …. aren’t they grand?? I just had to show you how the yellow one looks. ADORE!
That’s it for this week, folks! What did you get? Make sure to leave a comment above and link up your own Showcase Sunday post in the linky! See you next week!

Marian’s book looks even more gorgeous in that picture — after reading your beautiful review for it, I’ve been more excited to get my hands on a copy than ever! (My mom might go crazy with that book in the house because she’s trying to go on this unnecessary diet LOL, but us kids will definitely love it!) And yay for gorgeous nail polish!
Awesome showcase this week, Vicky! I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy your books! <3

I want to get Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children now it’s reportedly out in paperback…although I haven’t found anywhere selling it yet.

Yep, it looks really good! The Book Depo does have it, though.
I was just talking about it with someone this week and she was looking for the PB version as well. Here it is.
Nice haul! Loved your review for Saved by Cake and trying to get hold of a copy, but seems to be sold out right now. Congrats on winning the tattoos and bookmarks! And the nail polish is totally cool! I love unusual colors, as pinks and reds are too boring.

Great books this week and love the nails.
Ohh you finally got Miracle on Regent Street!! I keep wanting to reread that one soo bad I adored it! It really made me feel Christmassy though so I’ll wait a bit. But you’re going to love it, it’s such a lovely read.
Hannah recently posted..Showcase Sunday #1
Oh, is it? That’s EXACTLY what Celine and I are talking about on Twitter right now – I just remembered that I got a Christmasy book on Netgalley back in December and told her I probably wouldn’t like to pick it up in June in 30 degrees…
Thanks for the info! Will have to put it in my TBR pile and pick it up in winter, then.
Yup, read the blurb! It made me feel very Christmassy.
Luuurved it. Go read my review
I remember that one. Wish Upon A Star? I couldn’t read it. Too poorly written.. I don’t think I’ll ever manage a Mills & Boon title (which it is, to warn you)
Hannah recently posted..Showcase Sunday #1
Oh yes! I remember you saying how shite it was
It looked great, though! I couldn’t even read it in the end because the publisher wouldn’t respond to my email and it wasn’t available for Kindle. (and they archived it anyway) It must be fate or something.
It did and it had a pretty, glittery cover but it really wasn’t worth it. You aren’t missing anything! Miracle on Regent Street however – definitely read that around Christmas time it’s amazing!

Hannah recently posted..Showcase Sunday #1
Awesome week. I loved Radsom Riggs book and hope you do too. Love your new polish and swag chicka!

Thanks for sharing,
