Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Hello everyone and happy Sunday! How are you all? How was your week? Did you celebrate World Book Day on Thursday? And before I forget: is anyone going to the London Book Fair this year? I have some review copies I’d love to bring with me just in case anyone is up for a book swap – and more importantly, it would be lovely to meet you guys! I’ll try not to forget it and do a blog post about it in early April and show you all the books I’d like to swap but do let me know if you already know you’re going!
In other news, I got two books this week:
I had a pretty slow and meh week in every possible way but these two books definitely cheered me up! Gina was kind enough to send me a signed copy of her book which I’ve heard lots of great things about AND I also managed to get a second hand copy of a Linwood Barclay book via a local book swap site I told you about a few weeks ago, so huzzah! Apart from the creased spine it’s in a pretty good condition so it was definitely worth swapping. And apart from these two books, I have some Kindle goodies to show you:

Many thanks to Simon & Schuster, Choc Lit, and Exhibit A!
Some of you may remember that I read and reviewed Evonne’s previous book, Never Coming Home last year and absolutely loved it. Apparently, her new book is something similar genre-wise so I can’t wait to pick it up. I’m not sure about this whole mind reading/paranormal-ish element but the people at Choc Lit reassured me that it plays only a minor part in the story so I should be safe. We’ll see! Dear Lucy is actually the very first book I got approved for on Edelweiss – insert violent confetti-throwing and happy-dancing here – and again, it’s something I’ve seen quite a lot lately. Let’s hope it’s going to be as good as it sounds.
And that’s it for this week!
If you did a Showcase Sunday post, make sure to link up below – and feel free to leave me some comment love, you know I love reading them! Take care everyone and see you soon! x
