The Christmas Bake Off by Abby Clements
Winter Warmers by Carole Matthews
In a New York Minute by Eleanor Moran

Hello everyone and happy December! Can you believe it’s December already? Where’d this year go? Anyway, it was another pretty slow week for me but I wanted to show you these three Christmas books. All of them are free on Amazon and they seem perfect for the holidays. The Christmas Bake Off is a short story from Abby Clements, whose novel Meet Me Under the Mistletoe I reviewed back in October – and it also includes two bonus recipes of cinnamon cookies and vanilla and almond biscuits. How cool is that? I love baking and I’ve been looking for new cookie recipes anyway, so I can’t wait to read this one. If you’d like to download it, you can do so by clicking on one of the two following links: UK | US. Carole Matthews’ Winter Warmers is a collection of three short stories and it’s also free! Download it here on Amazon UK or US. In a New York Minute has just been released by Quercus and is available on Amazon US and UK as well.

In other news, I finally sat down and made some changes on my blog’s sidebar. I’ve been meaning to do this for ages but I haven’t had time to do it up until now. What do you think? Yay or nay? :)

As always, make sure to link up your own Showcase Sunday post in the linky below and feel free to leave me some comment love if you have a minute to spare. Have a great weekend and see you next week!

  4. Thanks for the freebies alert. I got The Christmas Bake Off, it looks like a fun small read. I’ll probably get to it while flying back to my hometown on christmas eve, it’ll be perfect to get me in the mood.

I also adore your changes, besides the big pic of you, which is so cute, I love the big buttons for fb, twitter, etc. Oh, also I show your blog to my bff a few days ago and she loved it too :) She is crazy for nails too and I was showing her your Nail Your Books post.

I started listening to Christmas tracks this afternoon so as soon as I have some time and energy I will definitely pick up some of these Christmas books as well :)

  7. I’m not a huge reader of Christmas books but I LOVE CHRISTMAS. Unfortunately my scrooge boyfriend won’t let me put up the decorations yet – boo to him!

But you’ve certainly made me feel Christmas-y today. Enjoy!

Me either, actually. Or at least I’m very picky when it comes to holiday books. I don’t like the ones that are way tooooo fluffy and … unrealistic. And there’s lots of them out there. We’ll see – I hope these three are not like that :D
