Showcase Sunday #13

Hello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. This week on Books, Biscuits, and Tea

Incoming books

Showcase Sunday #13♦ Who I Kissed by Janet Gurtler (won)
♦ Lost Girls by Ann Kelley (won)
♦ The First Time I Saw Your Face by Hazel Osmond (for review)
♦ The Murder on the Links by Agatha Christie (purchased)

Another great week, filled with some lovely surprises! Apart from our monthly book club read (Agatha Christie) I’m doing my best not to buy any more books until I read at least some of my review copies/books from my TBR pile. So imagine my surprise when The First Time I Saw Your Face landed on my doorstep early this week, followed by a package from The Book Belles.

Montana and the rest of the Book Belles team organised a 4th of July giveaway on their blog and I won! I was lucky enough to pick 2 books from their ARC pile, and I went for Who I Kissed and Lost Girls. I can’t wait to read them – thanks so much, Montana! :) And a massive thank you to Quercus for the review copy and their continued support!

So that’s it guys! What did you get this week? Make sure to leave a link to your own Showcase Sunday post in the linky below so that we can visit you back – and feel free to leave a comment after linking up! Have a lovely weekend xxx

Love the sound of your books this week- congratulations on your book wins!
I read your fantastic post on Monday about bloggers charging for nice reviews- it made my blood boil. I didn’t know that this went on, it gives bloggers a bad name.
Anyway, enjoy all your new books- have a fantastic week.

Great haul as usual, Vicky! I’ve been hearing lots of things about LOST GIRLS, so I can’t wait to hear your opinion on that one! The others look really good, too. 😀

    Enjoy all your marvelous books!

It’s wonderful to hear that you won Who I Kissed and Lost Girls! And you have to tell me if you like The Murder on the Links. :) The First Time I Saw Your Face definitely sounds interesting although I don’t think it’s available in North America as of yet. :( Have a lovely week.

It looks like you’ve got some awesome books. I haven’t read any of them, but Agatha Christie (from the few I’ve read) does write a brilliant book. I hope you enjoy them, and manage to get through a bit of your TBR pile.

The other day I was in my local charity store looking at the books on display in the window. There was a big pile of Agatha Christie books, all hardcovers and I was trying to remember who loves her books and bang it came to me; you! Haha! Anyway, great books this week. Well done on winning the giveaway, looks like you bagged some good books to read! Enjoy!

The First Time I Saw your Face looks really good. Added it in my TBR list 😀 And Who I Kissed sounds great, too, although I’m curious about how a peanut sandwich can kill someone o.O
Hope you enjoy your new books! 😀
