Yep, that’s right, folks. The previous read-a-thon hasn’t even finished and I’m here with another one. This one is slightly shorter as it starts tomorrow morning and ends at 11:59 p.m on Wednesday. Since this week’s been pretty unproductive, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to catch up in the next few days – and what better way to motivate myself than by joining yet another read-a-thon, right? The event is hosted by Angela and Loretta at Reading Angels, Candace at Candace’s Book Blog and Lori at Pure Imagination. If you’d like to sign up of simply find out more, click here.
Since I don’t know how busy next week’s going to be or how bad my reading slump’s going to be, my one and only plan is to finish the book I’m currently reading PLUS one more. That’s it.
I’m currently reading (and loving!) Lost and Found so the plan is to read whatever I can’t finish tonight, plus Insurgent. And then catch up on reviews because I’m way too far behind and haven’t posted anything review-like in ages. As always, I’ll update this post daily so if you’re interested in how I’m getting on then make sure to check back later. 🙂
What are your plans for the read-a-thon and what are you planning on reading?
Cover to Cover Blog mini challenge
Today’s challenge is hosted by Stephanie, who would like us to answer three book related questions and share them on our blogs. And the questions are:
1. Which book you are most excited to read in the coming year? It can be already released or coming soon.
Oooh, there are loads, really. Bot the two I’m looking forward to the most are Allegiant by Veronica Roth and Knife Edge by Fergus McNeill, both of which are being released later this year.
2. Which book would you re-read if you had the time and weren’t so busy reading ALL of the other good thing?
The Harry Potter series, hands down. I was in my early teens when I read them and frankly, it was a loooong time ago. Also, I read them in Hungarian at the time and I want to read the original, English version as well. I’ll need to pick them up soon!
3. and lastly, If you could meet any fictional character who would it be and why?
Mmm. It’s a tie between Hercule Poirot and Severus Snape. Poirot is just… sharp and witty and I’m sure he’d be a brilliant character to meet and Snape has been my favourite character from the very first HP book (and the fact that he’s played by Alan Rickman is just an added bonus because I flippin’ love him).
