European Blogger Meetup: Come and join us!

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Guys, guys, guys! Listen, I have some really exciting news! Me and a few other European bloggers (all of whom I’ve known literally ever since I started this blog and whom I absolutely adore) have been talking and we had a brilliant idea. You know how American bloggers can get together every year at BEA and meet each other but us European folks don’t really have anything remotely similar here? Well, even if we don’t have such events why shouldn’t or couldn’t we make a blogger meetup happen?

So, we’ve decided to take a few days off work and blogging and jet off to Amsterdam, the Netherlands for a European Blogger Meetup/Picnic this summer. Some of us have never been there so it’ll be a great opportunity to explore the city AND meet some awesome bloggers at the same time.

We’ll meet at ‘t Blauwe Theehuis in Vondelpark at noon on the 24th of August, 2013 before heading off to find the perfect spot to sit down, eat, drink and chat about books and blogging. So if you live in the Netherlands or are in/near Amsterdam over this weekend or want to take a few days off and explore this beautiful city like us, we’d love to meet you all. The more the merrier, right? :) And who’s “we”, you ask?

Celine from Nyx Book Reviews
Karin from My Life
will all be there.
Do let us know what you think of the idea or whether you can make it or not. It’d be lovely to meet you guys! :)

Aw, that’s too bad. It’s such a shame because other European, non-British citizens don’t even need a valid passport for visiting other EU countries. All you need is an ID card. :(

  4. Have fun, guys! =D

I’ve been blogging for a couple of months and I found your blog when googling for “european book bloggers”. The meeting is a great idea :)

I can’t make it, since I live in Portugal, but I hope you have a great time.

Anyway, I’m happy to have found this european book bloggers group and I’m sure to visit your blogs.

Here’s my Blog, if you’re curious about it.
